GeoLAB is a pilot project conceived by FIDAL – the Italian National Federation of Athletics, co-funded by the European Commission, which aims at preventing the risk of radicalization among youngsters through sport, and running in particular. Italy, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Portugal are part of this partnership. 

GeoLAB focuses on coaching as a vehicle of social integration and inclusion: after a 35 hour online Academy, GeoLAB graduated 40 EU Street Coaches, who are now ready to go to the streets of our cities training and involving young people in sport activities. GeoLAB trainers’ network is made up of innovative professional figures, who acquired sport and social competences to manage with particularly fragile and vulnerable people, the so-called “people at risks”, in order to include them in proactive groups.  

GeoLAB is very proud to be part of the FOUR BRIDGES NIGHT RUN 2022 taking place in MESTNI TRG, ŠKOFJA LOK, sensitizing students and runners towards the opportunity of “Running together, Running further”!.  Follow us @Geolabproject.
